Szerinted?
A comeback identity built for conversation, motion and modern platforms
A complete identity refresh for Szerinted?, a well-known Hungarian YouTube channel returning after a long break. I redesigned the brand around its core idea of conversation, creating a recognisable 3D speech-bubble symbol, a cleaner visual language and a modular motion toolkit that could support interviews, reactions, shorts and future formats without needing a redesign every six months.
Brief
Szerinted? ('What do you think?') is built around open conversations with creators, influencers and public personalities. The channel already had recognition and an established audience, but its old identity had become cluttered and closely tied to an earlier era of YouTube.
The relaunch needed to feel more considered and contemporary while keeping the conversational character that made the channel recognisable. It also had to support a broader content mix, not just one show format.

The Challenge
The old identity had personality, but very little system. It did not adapt naturally to shorts, reels, livestreams, studio screens or new programme formats.
The new brand needed to be youthful without chasing trends too aggressively, clean without becoming anonymous, and flexible without looking different every time it appeared. Conversation had to remain the obvious central idea.
Execution
I started with the speech bubble, the simplest visual expression of the channel's purpose, and rebuilt it as a soft, glass-like 3D object with enough character to become a recognisable hero asset.
Around it I developed a cleaner typographic system, energetic accent colours and a flexible graphic structure for thumbnails, overlays, banners and studio applications. The motion package included logo animation, intros, lower thirds, question graphics, transitions and modular overlays designed specifically around interview and discussion content.
I also built reusable After Effects templates so future episodes could stay on-brand without turning every upload into a bespoke graphics project.

Results
The new identity gave the returning channel a clearer and more contemporary presence while preserving the idea people already associated with Szerinted?: conversation.
The system now works across long-form video, short-form content, channel branding and studio graphics, making future content easier to produce consistently and giving the relaunch a much stronger visual starting point.
Personal Reflection
This project sat nicely between brand design and practical production, which is usually where I have the most fun.
The soft 3D direction gave the channel personality, while the template system meant the identity could actually survive regular content production. A beautiful brand that nobody can maintain is mostly just a very expensive screenshot.
